For the water-flood oil pool, the volume sweep efficiency and displacement degree of reserve recovery are two important parameters.In this paper, the fault blocks of Gangdong 1 Q1 and Zao 1281 in the Huanghua depression of the Bohai bay basin as a case was studied by means of numerical simulation, reservoir engineering calculation, and injection-production well net.We quantitatively study the volume sweep efficiency, displacement efficiency as well as their variation in the development process.During the process of oilfield development, the swept volume efficiency rapidly increases at the early stage and decrease at the late stage.At the high water stage, the swept volume efficiency is almost constant, but the intensity of water washing increases to make the increase of water washing thickness ratio and the oil displacement efficiency.Thus, it is required to raise the scope of the whole displacement to improve water flooding recovery.The result will be useful to adjust the development proposal of mature oil field.
