Qujing Basin in Yunnan province is a Tertiary fault-subsidence lacustrine rudimental basin, and is formed due to the regional strike-slip tectonic stress.Thetext systematical investigate the combined characteristics of source rocks, reservoirs and cap rocks in the biogas system(especially the burial history analyses of source rocks), migration and accumulation characteristics of biogas, the sections characteristics of hydrocarbon and the controlling effect of tectonic evolution in the process of gas-accumulation in Qujing basin. Through the comprehensive analyses and in-depth research of Hydrocarbon-Geology, it can be concluded that the future exploration of potential biogas-reservoirs in the Qujing basin is not very optimistic for the damage of reservoirs and cap rocks caused by tectonic-uplift and the correspondingly small scale of trap.
