The Minghuazhen Formation and Guantao Formation of Gangdong exploitation area are fluvial facies deposits. Based on 3-D seismic data and fine\|division layers of the Formations by high-resolution sequence technique, the seismic response characteristics of reservoir sand layers are defined. Sub-layers are interpreted according to the sequence-contrasting law. The distribution range of channels is traced using the advanced spectrum decomposition processing-interpretation technique and 3-D vision technique. The results of calculation and real drilling data are matched well by using the methods of point-controlling-surface and surface-directing-point. The practical geological effects are very satisfactory.
