The experiment of combination and dissociation process of methane hydrate researched by computerized tomography (CT) is expatiated on in this article. It was proved that CT could identify the combination and dissociation process of methane hydrate distinctly. The dynamic process of methane hydrate can be recorded by CT images which reflect the density information. It was shown in this experiment that there was a paroxysmal beginning at the early time of combination which began at the interface between water and methane and the early resultant was loose and with low density which would become denser. And the methane hydrate became loose and released the gas during dissociation process.
