THE KINETICS MODEL OF HYDRATE FORMATION IN SEDIMENTS

The formation mechanism of Natural Gas Hydrate in sediments was analyzed firstly, and then based on accepted geological model, the theory of fractal geometry was used to modify fractal dimension. The characteristics of mass transfer and formation kinetics of natural gas hydrate in fractal medium were described, and the formation rate equation was solved by numerical calculation. The influence of fractal dimension and diffusion radius to natural gas hydrate formation rate was investigated in this paper.
