    There are good oil and gas exploration prospect and diverse traps in the northern slope of the yinggehai basin. The outflows of oil and gas have been continuing for more hundred years. There are wide-ranging pits on the seabed and many abnormal reflections on the seismic profile. It shows that the basin is rich hydrocarbon one and the generating, transporting, converging, losing of oil and gas is balance now, so there are good plays in this area. But the exploration result is bad in this area. It is time to strengthen geological comprehensive study and to have the geological regular well in hand.We believe that insisting on exploration and study will result in significant discovering and open up a new prospect.

    Natural gas geochemistry characters of large gas field in marine carbonates of the Sichuan Basin has detailedly been expounded in this paper, According to the results of the component of the natural gas, carbon isotopes, light hydrocarbon of condensate and distribution characters of biomarkers, the gas sources of 3 large gas fields in marine carbonates of the Sichuan basin are all foreign instead of in situ. Source rocks of 1 gas fields is above the reservoir, the others are under the reservoir. The gas of  Dengying Formation in Wenyuan gas field comes from dark shale of Lower Cambrian Qiongzhusi Formation.Gas source of Jia Lingjiang Formation in Wolonghe gas field should be the underlying coal measures in the Upper Permian Longtan Formation.The gas of Carboniferous in eastern of Sichuan basin chiefly comes from dark shale of Lower Silurian.These characteristics are important significant to exploring the large gas field in the carbonates.

    Crust uplift, as an important geological phenomenon, can make oil or gas pools reach earth’s surface and destroy. If crust uplift can’t make oil or gas pools reach earth’s surface,it will give an important influence to preservation of oil or gas pools. Crust uplift can increase the capillary sealing ability of caprock and decrease the pressure and hydrocarbon concentration of caprock. Crust uplift can decrease the sealing ability of faults and make them open. Crust can make water from earth’s surface, oxygen in free phase and bacterium contact with oil or gas pool,make oil or gas pools take place water washing,oxidation and bacterial degradation.Crust uploft can make gas dffusiong lose amount from gas pool increase,can't be favorable for oil or gas to preserve.

    In this paper, the author summed up methods of petroleum-generating including bulk flow pyrolysis, sealed vessel pyrolysis, pyrolysis-gas chromatography (-mass spectrometry) and basin modeling. By simulation, lots of petroleum geological question were researched such as petroleum-generating mechanism, building of petroleum-generating mode, affection of petroleum generation, resource valuation and petroleum migration effect . Development trend of petroleum-generating simulation were concording with natural condition.

    The concept of Petrophysical Flow Unit was first put forward in 1984. It is also named Reservoir Flow Unit. The technology of studing flow unit is applied in quantitative describing and evaluating petrophysical property of reservoirs in petrolum exploration and development. It is a new thought and intergrated technology in studing quantitatively properties of fluid flow in reservoir rocks and heterogeneous reservoirs based on analysis of sedimentary microfacies in high resolution and high frequency sequence stratigraphy framwork.The concept of petrophysical flow unit ans studing status are reviewed in this paper.The intergrated techoniligy my be widely paied attention to in petroleum exploration and development in future.
