The phase state and distribution rule could recognized clearly and its control factors could investigation, as a means of the PVT experimental data of 80 layers and the physical and chemical characters of these hydrocarbons produced from oil and gas pools in Kuqa petroleum system. The main type was gaseity and subordinative type was liquid in hydrocarbon fluid system in this system. The system divided two or three belts-south, middle and north, and two segments-east and west, and the north belt was rich.
In last two decades, with some oil and gas fields were discovered in Kucha foreland basin, more progress have been made on Kucha petroleum system. In this paper, the main geological characteristics about Kucha petroleum system are showed as follows: The Kucha petroleum system is composed of Triassic-Jurassic source rock which is characterized by Ⅲ-Ⅱ_(1) type kerogen from mudstone of lacustrine facies and coal beds-mudstone bearing high carbon of swamp facieses. Its energy fields are characterized by lower team.

The results indicate that there is a direct proportion relation between the migration velocity of oil through fault and inclination angle of fault, there is an inverse proportion relation between the migration velocity of oil through fault and granules and mudston cotents of filling material in fault zone. After many years exploration, it’s proved that source rocks of Wenchang and Enping formation are two sets of important source rocks developed in Wenchang A sag, where there is rich hydrocarbon resource with the characteristics of gas being accumulated in the center and oil being accumulated in the margin. The study shows that the play condition is excellent in the central uplift, downthrown block of eastern Zhu Ⅲ south fault, and northern slope of Wenchang A sag, and they are important fields for hydrocarbe.

Through comprehensive analysis of lots of rock core, well logs, and seismic data, and combining the knowledge of reservoir geology, logging geology and seismic sequence, the reservoir anisotropism can be resolved effectively. Based on the analysis of single well microfacies, the reservoir character in the lower section of Minghuazhen formation has been studied. The results indicate that the Minghuazhen formation develops meandering river sedimentary system, which can be subdivided into six types of sediment.

A new method of determining deliverability of gas reservoir is established in this work. The principle and the derived process are presented as follows: the Absolute Open Flow (AOF) potential of one-point method is first determined using the test data; then, the correction function of AOF is given based on the well deliverability testing data; The established relationship of AOF with flow coefficient leads to a generalized deliverability equation for the whole gas reservoir; the possible maximum and reasona.

The macerals of the low-mature coal (R_o=0.40%, from Manjia’er Depression, Tarim Basin, China) were subjected to closed system pyrolysis, in sealed gold tubes, under isothermal temperature conditions, ranging from 250 to 550℃ at temperature intervals of 50℃ (72 hours/sample). The soluble organic matters from pyrolysis residues and original coal sample were obtained by chloroform extraction, including saturated, aromatic and non-hydrocarbon fractions.
