Accumulation features and formation conditions of tight oil reservoir in A’nan Sag,Erlian Basin,China

Abstract

Accumulation features and formation conditions of the special lithological section in A’nan Sag,Erlian Basin,China,in which tight oil reservoir exists,were analyzed and evaluated by using core,seismic data,geological drilling and geochemical data.Tight reservoirs,developing in A’nan Sag,in which the special lithological section developed at the lower of A4 and Teng 1 members,had complex lithology,resistivity curve liking bayonet and the obvious seismic response.The special lithological section had a large distribution area and large thickness,in which the high quality source rocks exist,mainly in dolomite mudstone and layered calcareous mudstone.Tight reservoirs composed of dolomite and sandstone,contacting with high quality source rocks,have favorable conditions for the formation of tight oil because of the effective thickness and the relatively good hole infiltration condition.According to the comprehensive analysis,the favorable area is mainly located in the lower part of the slope near the center of the depression trough.
