Margin Reefs Reservoir Characteristics and HydrocarbonEnrichment Law of Lianglitage Formation in Tazhong Area,Tarim Basin

Platform margin reef reservoir in Lianglitage Formation is a main reservoir type in the Tazhong area,and its characteristics and hydrocarbon enrichment law are the key point to increase gas reserve and production.Previous researchers have carried out lots of work in coring and sedimentary facies description,which deepen the understanding of margin reefs.The paper precisely describes the distribution of margin reef reservoir based on waveform differences,single well facies and seismic facies.Statistics of drilling results show micro-geomorphology in platform margin of Lianglitage Formation in the northern slope of Tazhong Uplift undulates with strong seismic energy;rudstone and mudstone reservoirs are developed,and back reef bank and intra-platform mound bank are less developed.Reef bodies in platform margin gradually pinch out to intra-platform to form lithologic trap.Hummocky beach and intra-platform uplift form structural lithologic trap,and weathering crust in eastern Lianglitage Formation forms buried-hill trap.There are three types of hydrocarbon accumulation patterns consistent with trap genesis.Reef-bank fracture cave with zonal distribution in platform margin is cut by trike slip fault,forming several fault blocks high in the east and low in the west,and reef-bank fracture-caves in every fault block has its own system that high positions of fault blocks enrich oil and gas,low positions of fracture-caves contain water.Based on the hydrocarbon enrichment law,the high structural position of Tazhong 1 wellblock,Tazhong 2 wellblock,Tazhong 3 wellblock and Tazhong 4 wellblock are potential hydrocarbon enrichment areas.
