Application of network fracturing technology to reconstruct shale reservoir in Fuling area of southeast Sichuan Basin

Abstract

The Wufeng-Longmaxi Formations in Fuling area of Sichuan Basin have favorable geological properties for reservoir fracturing.Referring to the successful experience of shale gas exploration in North America,aiming at the realization of network fractures,a series of fracturing techniques have been applied in the fracturing process of Wufeng-Longmaxi Formations,such as slickwater and linear colloid fracture fluid,low density coated sand,network fracturing parameter optimization and pumping bridge plug and clustering perforation.Field application of these techniques have made remarkable increase of well production,and therefore,a network fracturing technical system suited for marine shale in Fuling area came into being.
