The Application of Geosteering Technology for Horizontal Wellin the N1-N12 Reservoir of Gas-oil Field

Horizontal well geosteering is the key technique for the success of horizontal well. According to the technical problems such as the great changes in reservoir lithology and formation dips, and poor rock debris representative of cuttings of the Gasikule oilfieldN1-N12 reservoir, starting with the optimization of well deployment, with in-depth analysis of reservoir structural feature, strengthening of stratigraphic correlation, combination of comprehensive logging data, a set of horizontal well geosteering technology which is applicable for this reservoir has been established. Good application has been achieved during the drilling of horizontal wells.
