Hydrogen Sulfide Genesis in BZ 25-1/S Oilfields,Bozhong Depression

Hydrogen sulfide as a harmful gas ingredient in gas and oil associated gas brings the potential safe question of oil and gas production.During the oil field development of BZ 25-1/S oilfield in the Bozhong Depression,Bohai Bay basin,H2S has been detected in the some wells,distributing in rang of (5-318) × 10-6.In this paper,we collected the samples of natural gas,sulfate and ferrous sulfide and measured theH2S content,carbon isotopic compositions of alkene gases and sulfur stable isotopes of H2S and solid sulfur-bearing matters in the low part of Minghuazhen Formation and Shahejie Formation of BZ 25-1/S oilfield.The results show that the hydrogen sulfide as well as oil and gas in the BZ 25-1/S oilfield is sourced from the Shahejie Formation source rock,and the hydrogen sulfide is thermally decomposed from the source rock rather than TSR or BSR.
