Lower Paleozoic Burial Stratigraphy and Reservoir-Cap Assemblages in Nanpu Sag,Bohai Bay Basin

Abstract

The exploration practice indicated that the lower Paleozoic carbonate buried hills would be favorable oil and gas-bearing area in the beach area of Nanpu sag.It will become the hot exploration domain in the future.On the basis of sedimentary environment background in the north China,we consider that depositional environment in the Huanghua and Jizhong depressions was the shallow sea of continental margin at early Paleozoic.According to fossil assemblage and rock-electric features as well as standard sequence of lower Paleozoic in the Jizhong depression,we classify the lower Paleozoic sequences in the drilled well of Nanpu sag,and set up the standard sequence of lower Paleozoic in the Nanpu sag.The distribution range of upper Majiagou,lower Majiagou and Cambrian sequences was interpreted by well-seismic calibration.Ordovician and Cambrian were divided by reservoir evaluation into five and six reservoir-cap assemblages,respectively.The lower Majiagou assemblage is considered as the future favorable object.It provides the necessary geological evidences and beneficial directions for the buried hills exploration.
