Seepage Field Analysis of Fractured Gas Reservoir with Different Completion Methods

In this paper,we set up the two finite element models for the perforated completion of fracture sequence and the screen completion. In the sequence model,there are many natural fractures,some fractures directly touch well wall,others are connected each other,causing the complex seepage. It is difficult to calculate by the conventional method. Thus,we have to use finite element method. Based on ANSYS software,we use the same material for the sequence and fracture in the finite element model. We also introduce the amplification factor to describe the effect of fracture to fluid conductivity. Since the polluted belt of the wall and fractures by drill fluid exists,we introduce the pollution coefficient to describe to the permeability decrease in the polluted belt. We use the simulating calculation of two models to get both pressure distribution and seepage flow velocity field,and then compare the results of tow models to give the theoretical evidence for well completion system election.
