Application of Numerical Well Test in Development of Kela 2 Gas Field

Abstract

According to abnormal pressure feature of Kela 2 gas field, dynamic and static analysis, gas reservoir engineering and valid well pattern of numerical well test, we built up the gas reservoir model required for numerical well test, in combination of static data of regional structure of gas well groups, valid thickness and porosity, parameters of coherence and high pressure physical property, and fluid data. We also setup the model of gas well based on production history of individual well. Data of pressure recovery interpretation and performance prediction of gas production for Kela 2 gas field was done by using numerical well test. Then the physical property of reservoirs which reflected the real geologic feature and dynamic performance of production was gotten. And the data interpretation and performance forecasting method was developed.
