Based on the localization properties of wavefield decomposition and propagation in the beamlet domain, and according to relevant extrapolation formula, the beamlet domain is implemented, and finally imaging values are computed using image-forming condition. By selecting multiple imaging points at geologic targets, the target-oriented controlled illumination migration imaging can be gained, and by selecting multiple imaging points on multiple horizons to control illumination prestack depth migration, the image of the whole area can be acquired. The test results of Marmousi model shows that the method has a great advantage in improving the efficiency of computing. We can select the target oriented effective illumination beamlet to accomplish some part of beamlet migration, thus imaging quality and the efficiency of computing can be better.
