Abstract

According to massive drilling data, core samples, thin slice analysis, well logging and production tests, this paper studies the characteristics and control factors of the Lower Cretaceous Bashijiqike Formation sandstone in the Dabei region, Kuche sag, Tarim basin. The rock type is dominantly the feldspar lithic sandstone and the rock debris arkosic sandstone in the Dabei region, to a lesser extent, the rock debris silicarenite and the lithic sandstone. The reservoir spaces include primary intergranular pores, intergranular dissolution pores, few feldspar and lithic dissolution pores, corrosion splits, build joints and micropores, and it is low porosity to extra-low permeability reservoir. The unusual growth of cracks provides the base for the high production of deep-burial low porosity to extra\|low permeability reservoirs. The conditions of the deep\|burial reservoirs are improve obviously after the later period diagenesis and tectonism. The controlling factors of the reservoir development include sedimentary micro-facies, diagenesis, tectonism, rock salt layer, abnormally high pressure and the burial depth, and structure extrusion and corrosion are the key control factors.
