Abstract

The study on the sulfur deposition is one of the important tasks in the development of high sulfur content gas reservoirs. In order to obtain the saturated sulfur content accurately, experiment methods and procedures are designed. Using the design proposal, the element sulfur solubility is measured on the real gas of Wells B24 and TD5\|1. The establishment of the experimental method can supply the reference for accurately testing the sulfur solubility in high sulfur content gas. Based on the experiment study, the calculation methods on the sulfur solubility are checked on the Chrastil and Roberts constant coefficient models. Results show that the solubility that is calculated by the Chrastil model can fit with the experimental test, the absolute average deviation is small. However, the constant coefficient model presented by Roberts is based on the particular composition and experimental condition, the absolute average deviation is large when fitting the different compositions and experimental condition.
