Methods to Improve the Demarcated Accuracy of Gas Recoverable Reserves in Shallow Gas Reservoirs

According to the character of the poor production history rule and the mismatching between the demarcated recoverable reserves and the reservoir performance, the methods to improve the demarcated accuracy of gas recoverable reserves are presented in this paper. The methods include the processing of production data, the selection of demarcating methods, the determination of abandonment conditions and the calculation of gas PVT. The methods were applied in Kenxi Block and the result shows that the demarcating accuracy is good.
