GEOCHEMICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF OIL AND GAS FROM SHUANGNAN OILFIELD, LIAOHE BASIN

The crude oils from Shuangnan oilfield, Liaohe basin are unbiodegraded oils with normal density. In the distributions and compositions of biomarkers, the ratios of pristine to phytane, and sterane C-{27}20R to C-{29}20R are about 1.0, and the abundances of C30 ,diahopane, C29neohopane and garmmacerane are relatively lower, showing that they are derived from the source rocks with Ⅱ kerogen deposited under fresh water lacustrine environment. Based on the molecular maturity parameters such as sterane, terpane and aromatics, most of the crude oils are mature, but the crude oils from Jin 135 and Qing 5 well are immature. The analytical results show that the compositions of light hydrocarbons in crude oils are related to their maturity. Biomarker fingerprinting between oil-source correlation reveals that those crude oils are derived from the source rocks of 3 member of Shahejie Formation(Es 3) .
