Abstract

The development of the Dazhangtuo condensate gas reservoir by cyclic gas injection began in 1995. During the program, the performance tracking and monitoring isof great importance. How to monitor the time at which the gas source of injection wells can reach production wells and the direction it will flow decides whether the program could be conducted well or not. According to the data analysis results at home and abroad, the paper presents that tracer can be used in trackingfluid flowing and monitoring program performance. Through the study of tracer screening, injection volume, and injection method, combining with the conducting and monitoring results of the cyclic gas injection in the Dazhangtuo condensate gas reservoir, it is concluded that trace tracking and monitoring plays an important role in program regulating.
