EVALUATION OF GAS TRANSPORTING ABILITY THROUGH SANDBODY OF CHENGZIHE FORMATION IN SUIBIN DEPRESSION

To study the gas transporting ability of the sandbody of Chengzihe formation in the Suibin depression, a parameter evaluating the gas transporting ability through sandbody is defined and calculated according to the ratio of thickness between sand body and formation and the characteristics of permeability. The value range of the parameter for the Chengzihe formation is from 0.01 to 4.25. The high value area is located in the east of the Suibin depression, from which the parameter gradually decreases to the west. The gas accumulation efficiency of 11 largeand medium gas fields whose gas transporting pathway is sandbody is calculated through the definition. Based on the relationship between these 11 fields' gas accumulating efficiency and their evaluation parameters of gas transporting ability, an evaluation standard is established for determining high, middle or low efficiency of transporting ability. According to this standard, the high efficiency area is located in the east, and the middle and low efficiency areas are in the west of the Suibin depression. The study indicates that the favourable area for gas is located in the Fuxing slope in the east of Suibin depression.
