Organic fluid activity times of Yanchang Formation in the southern Ordos Basin

Abstract:

Based on observation of porous asphalt fluorescence and inclusions fluorescence spectrum,and analysis of inclusions homogenization temperature,the organic fluid activity of Yanchang Formation in southern Ordos Basin was studied.The results show that the porous asphalt carbonaceous bitumen formed in the earliest time,which often occupied large part of intergranular pore and intragranular dissolution pores and part of the diagenetic fracture.Porous asphalt with orange-yellow fluorescence,whose formation time is later than the carbonaceous bitumen,together with the filling materials,usually fills the residual intergranular pore and intragranular dissolution pores,and most of the structural cracks and quartz joints.The blue-white fluorescent asphalt is formed at the latest time,and modified two types of pore asphalt,which deposited in the remaining pores and most of the quartz healing joints.Based on different fluorescence quantitative fluorescence spectrum analysis of organic fluid inclusions,fluid parcel cervix temperature data and stratigraphic burial history research,results show that the first phase of charged oil was oxidized and damaged into black carbonaceous bitumen,which occurred in the end of Jurassic,with formation temperature of 65-70℃.The second stage oil charge was characterized by the orange-yellow fluorescence asphalt,which occurred in the Middle Cretaceous,with formation temperature of 90-100℃.The third stage oil charge was characterized by the blue-white fluorescent asphalt,which occurred in the Late stage of Early cretaceous,with formation temperature of 110-120℃.
